Antica Focacceria San Francesco

Opened in 1834, the Anticca Focacceria is one of Palermo’s
oldest restaurants. It sells a wide range of authentic Sicilian
cuisine. The ground floor is a tavola calda - a fast food
café, serving ready-made food.
Upstairs there is a restaurant, where the choice of served
dishes à la carte is much wider. We would probably
suggest you to try the panelle,
(fritters made from chick pea flour) and the pani ca meusa
(sandwich with steer spleen).
